In a forgotten corner of rural Spain, the land is staying behind while everyone else is leaving. As the village empties and the old ways disappear, one man remains behind, watching the people he grew up with build new lives elsewhere.

 

Between empty houses, village fiestas, fading friendships and memories of a life that no longer exists, he struggles to hold on to what remains — the land, the past, and the feeling that he still belongs somewhere.

 

A darkly comic and melancholic portrait of rural Spain, where sometimes the hardest thing about being left behind is simply having nowhere else to go.
